I have to say the look is unique but I have grown to love it also. People are surprised to find out it is a Saturn as some think it is a much more luxurious car. We are already on record complaining that the Vue is bigger than a Ford Escape on the outside and smaller inside. Ive had ours for 2yrs. The only good things i can say about it is its good on gas and gets me from a to b. I got out so fast.
What it got was the head goose. The recall began in October 2014. Driven in town, through ice and snow, long road trips, hauled boxing and baseball gear in the back, stuffed it with a large armoire, a huge television, and fit my pitching cage in with no problem. It also is good on gas. It starts up immediately and drives smoothly, but when idling gets very loud. I learned later that Saturn engineers were working to change the calibration for gear shifts, which occur at higher engine speeds than they would like.
Saturn had recall, But after warranty ran out they do not help you. If it can, dealers will replace the ignition cylinder and keys, free of charge. They informed me that it was the fuel pump and it needed to be replaced right away. She gave me a case and told me to get a reimbursement form from dealership and submit the papers and surely they could do something.
