The tire had play which prevented any attempts at wheel alignment. Maybe im gonna try retarding the engine timing some time next week. There is probably so much damage due to lack of oil that it would cost more to replace parts than it is worth. If anyone gets a diagnosis please post. U-joint boot was discovered to be torn. I had some carbon deposits when i had this link to power valve issue I got beat by a Prius on a green light It adle look around the hood why I had loss of power. I drove the car another week to determine whether this noise I was hearing was valid. Maybe a sunk lifter or bad valve spring. The knocking noise that you are hearing is different. The contact stated that while driving over a pump in the road a popping noise was present coming from the front of the vehicle. For the time being is anybody body else on this forum getting these symptoms or is this just not a common issue here.

Feels like loss of control may occur. The current mileage was 137,000 and failure mileage was 127,000. Nissan states if the issue can not be duplicated when they test it then it can not be addressed. It's not as hard as it looks. Could this be a timing issue? So much can go wrong from this. The sound seems like it's coming from the top of the motor and not where I first assumed it was coming from exhaust shield.

It was replaced and the problem got fixed. Still the sound is there. They then paid for her to get it checked out by a doctor and gave her a tetanus shot. The pump still worked but the pressure was below 5psi almost all the time,. I have never been able to solve my issue since the mechanics all say the same thing regarding to octane but this is not the issue nor is it injectors. I've taken this car to my Nissan dealer twice.
It's not harming anything, it's just a slight annoyance. I got back to the Office and asked the front desk clerk to call my salesman John Burns to tell him about what I had just experiend basically I was harassed in my own vehicle. One fan defective at 80k. Living with it for now. I just know that the oil pan was showing empty and the loose oil filter was covered in leaking oil. They can check any internal parts that can be affected by low oil level or heat damamge. I was told to bring it in for service.
