Be sure to connect the amplifier remote on wire in the radio harness to the Alpine remote on lead. Hoping it's not, but all signs seem to point there. Post back if there is anything else you need. And if I do need to use it, where do I put them in the wiring scheme? I know usually they would go to an amp if it was an after market amp. Stated there was no safety issue, but rotors needed to be replaced. Recall 07V092000 was for the electrical system.
Also be sure you have a good ground for the radio. I started the car this morning, and the radio worked for about 5 minutes, afterwards, it stays on with no audio. Then on the door jamb side, a couple of inches below the flat rubber part of the grommet there is an unused round rubber grommet. It won't get loud enough, unless you have the adjustable interface for the amp, and even that one is a pain to work with.
