Staff seemed nice and knowledgeable and I was in and out pretty quick. I asked if they were open. I am available for customers to give their input M-F from 9:30am-7pm, Saturday 10am-4pm at our Salem location or via 503. The next day they called me and said my computer had a virus and it had corrupted the boot drive or somthing like that. I will not take my computer anywhere else May 17. Bring it into a shop. Refresh this Yelp page and try your search again.
Signs of virus problems include your pc not shutting down properly, too many systems freezes, problems sending e-mail, etc. It also had like a 7 year warranty on it which is amazing! The next day they called and said it was fixed. I looked everywhere and no one had what I needed. I have been taking mine and my families computers here for almost 5 years and I think the staff is great. I found them very helpful, knowledgable, and fair.
I let the guy know what computer I had and what was in it. The technician that helped me was friendly and knew what the problem was right off the bat. My office wont run either and my computer is not any faster. They fixed my computer and got it back to me within a week. I think I found my new computer store!!! I first brought it to another store in town- they told me there was nothing they could do to get my pictures back. We didn't open it, we just took it back, we had our receipt. They did not try and take advantage or over sell me and I liked that. Nice clean store which was nice compared to some of the places I went to. Just because something seems like a simple problem it is almost impossible to diagnose what is directly wrong with something so complex as a computer.
My computer crashed and I took it to Geek Squad. An employee stepped to the front. I was in tears for days. I had all my wedding pic's and movies I never backed up. I brought my computer in because it was running very slow. I recommend this store to all my family and friends and to all other seniors that need computer service. I had my laptop into Bits and pc's, best buy and pc club and non of them could fix my system.
They had already tossed them. The people who were unhappy should have talked to her she would have fixed it. Tara and Jason are great. After thoroughly searching our QuickBooks customer file, I am unable to find any one named Shannon with their last name ending in the letter M. The price could not be better and the service and quality are always first class. I don't live in Salem and I was only visiting my dad for two weeks. I was in tears for days.
Bring it into a shop. I think a lot of negative reviews are based on the fact not many people understand the instability of technology. This is not acceptable customer service - especially in times of difficult economies. I have never been into this store before and since I get my morning java at the Dutch Bros on the corner I decided to see what they had to say about my recently deceased laptop. The next day they called and said it was fixed. What you might think should only take an hour might be some complicated you may have to wait a week or more if required replacement of parts and restoring of drives.
I have given them every opportunity to try to come up with a compromise to my issue but they have only been rude and unwilling to work with me. Every time I call them, they are superb. I will recommend them to all my friends. Very nice young men and very helpful and understanding as I don't know much of anything about computers. Great new location and nice store to! I honestly don't know what the employee was thinking.
