Native Instruments has an inherent advantage in their hardware design: they also design the software. This product will be returned, and I fear this is a major design flaw that will take away so many of the wonderful features of … Read more » Have persisted with this, am not entirely convinced my unit is faulty. Karlos… i know your work and your contributions so i know how passionate you are about Traktor. I am guessing this feature will be added eventually, but seems like a fairly big oversight. For the features available, though, reference the S2 review, as they work pretty much identically. The only feature I would like to see added would be an override button that resets the decks to a default setting for sync, pitch and filters to a preset norm on the controller surface and a lock out for the auto sync function. I think it is an excellent value for the money for professional use. My Mk2 remains in place for everything I do.

I had been using this for a whole year leading up til July 2014 without any major issues at all, and all of a sudden I was plagued with these issues. Plugging in and firing it up reveals an altogether more colourful experience. But that still may not be enough for users to upgrade.
