After one year passes, is seen attacking Metropolis. The version of the game, published by , was released on 6 September 2012. Well, it was probably never intended to be like that anyway. They soon discover it was Bizarro who broke in and it was for a reason: to steal the LexCorp duplicator ray that created him. But there's also much worse, making this recycled videogame production a decent purchase if you've exhausted other options.
However, Batman takes Wonder Woman, Guy Gardner and to investigate. Superheroes are not perfect and should not be portrayed as such. Moreover, the banter between Bruce and Clark is golden, Robin's childlike enthusiasm had me laughing out loud, and a handful of pop culture references elicited a grin from my son's dear ol' dad. Back at the Batcave, Batman is trying to figure out Luthor's next move. The game's gameplay is similar to its predecessor, , but allows players to play as classic characters and other various superheroes, such as , , , , , and. Unfortunately, Superman is immediately harmed and put in a coma. He determines the new Kryptonite is harmless, but it proves to be a tracking device which leads Luthor and Joker to the cave.

Along with Robin, Batman confronts and defeats all of the villains, but Joker escapes on a rocket-powered motorboat. Sadly some of our adult live action movies need to take a lesson! It doesn't grab your attention like Gotham Breakout, Bizarro, Brainiac, or Batman 2017.
Bizarro then blasts Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Guy with the ray creating Bizarro versions of themselves, dubbed , , Cyzarro and Greenzarro. What I love about this funny, action-packed film is how it shows the relationship between Robin and Batman as somewhat difficult. As they are trying to achieve their goal, Superman helps him. New gadgets such as Robin's Hazard Cannon, Superman's heat vision, and a Power Suit for Batman were introduced. The film uses cutscenes from the game as well as new scenes to replace gameplay. They've unlocked every character and probably consider this their favorite game of all time. While we're at it, why are the Legos moving fluidly anyway? It's all harmless, of course, and I'd take Lego Batman over the dozen or so unbearable animated films that just leaped to mind.
It was clever, fun and adventurous, despite the limitations of being just about Legos. In addition to Luthor, the Crown Prince of Crime and a giant gas-spewing, kryptonite-powered robo-Joker, the heroes have to contend with Batman's most dangerous rogues: Two-Face Troy Baker , Harley Quinn Laura Bailey , the Penguin Steven Blum , Catwoman Katherine Von Till , the Riddler Rob Paulsen and Poison Ivy Bailey. The voice actors do an excellent job with what they're given groan-inducing one-liners and all , and the lively animation style is exciting far more exciting than anything it actually depicts. I don't think this would fit that purpose! The game is a standalone sequel to and the second video game. At the end though, they become good friends. After a brief skirmish, Batman is thrown out of the massive convoy and enters the Batmobile. The same goes for the rear speakers, which have some fun and get a bit rowdy when a fight breaks out, but tend to just eek by rather than ruling the soundscape.
Unlike the adult Robin portrayed in the live-actor movies, Robin is here a youngster, impatient to join in the mayhem while Batman continually forces him into the background. But when he sees the footage, he realizes who it is, and tells the League he'll handle it himself. Soon it's all out war, with Gotham's future at stake and the U. The Joker I loved because he is exactly the way he should be. Then, the Joker commits a crime and Batman and Robin have to capture him once again.
There are other missteps along the way too, chief among them the heavy focus placed on Lex and the Joker, and it all translates into a stilted movie; one so trivial and one-note that it makes its 70-minutes feel bloated. . Maybe if they made this short Lego movie more serious with less jokes, then definitely it would go onto the Hollywood Hall of Fame. Now, I don't know whats going to happen when the original Batman movie comes out next year but this, wasn't a great example to use the Lego format as an excuse to make it look better. Even my son, who had a blast watching the flick, lamented how much he had already seen or played. Apart from that, the movie is just unfunny. While the Justice League deals with her, Batman soon discovers there's more to the rampage then meets the eye.
As direct-to-video family fare goes, you could definitely do much worse. Rather than use pre- existing assets to create a new adventure, the recycling reeks of laziness and a quick cash grab. I really didn't think this was really that good because, I felt the actors weren't getting enough lines or the story just dragged on. Characters don't move stiff-like, they move smooth. After knocking off Grodd's helmet, Penguin, Deathstroke and Captain Cold turn on Gorilla Grodd and use the stolen tech for themselves.
C'mon, while we're young, people! If you don't know who Bruce Wayne is, he is Batman undercover. Most of the Kryptonite from the robot is spilled onto the street out of the robot, making a giant Joker face in Gotham viewable from the Watchtower. After learning of a break-in at Ace Chemicals, Batman and Robin search for clues as to what the Joker is up to. A direct sequel titled was released in November 2014. It's a few years older and doesn't have the flagship moviestar voice talent as the recent one, but they do a great job.
