For ignition timing, it's likely off because the crank timing mark is off, therefore the trigger plate if off. The reason for this is because the rear engine balance shaft driven by the oil pump rotates twice for every single revolution of the pump sprocket. Ok lines up with the head. Please refer to engine size first. My only problem is lifter tap, do to snapping the timing belt. I bought one from a garage sale and all i had to do was call the dealer and have the serial number of the radio and vin number of the car and they gave me the code.

The oil filter housing gasket was totally wrong. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil. That hole comes around every 2 full turns of the oil pump sprocket. Have you had any issues with the timing and did you have to replace your crank trigger plate since your belt broke too?
